Italian Bruschetta Recipe

When it comes to Italian cuisine, apart from Pizza very few dishes come to our mind. Bruschetta is one such dish which is basically a combination of garlic bread and pizza. Made with primarily tomatoes, garlic and olive oil, these tempting Bruschettas are made in a jiffy and are enough to satiate your hunger cravings. You can add more veggies like onions and capsicum as per your taste, but the classic recipe includes only tomatoes. You can either bake it in an oven or toast the breads in a desi way on a tawa. Topped with mozzarella cheese and basil leaves, Bruschetta will definitely become your another favourite Italian dish. So, make sure you try this recipe which is made in less than 10 minutes and provides the classic taste of Italian flavours.

Italian Bruschetta

Ingredients of Italian Bruschetta

  • 4 slices bread
  • 4 tomato
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 leaves basil
  • 4 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • salt as required
  • 2 tablespoon black olives
  • 4 tablespoon grated mozzarella

How to make Italian Bruschetta

Step 1Slice breads diagonally and keep aside.

Step 2Now combine chopped tomatoes, garlic, olives, salt and black pepper in a bowl. Drizzle some olive oil and mix well.

Step 3Now heat a tawa, drizzle a few drops of olive oil and place two cut bread slices in it. Flip when one side is toasted. Now drizzle some olive oil and spread the prepared tomato mixture on the breads well. Garnish with cheese and cover the tawa and cook for just one minute. Repeat the steps with other bread slices as well.

Step 4Once done, place the prepared bread on a serving dish, garnish with basil leaves and serve.
